Dr. Akkinapally joined Pediatric Associates of Johns Creek, PC in July 2024.  She is originally from South India where she completed her undergraduate training and earned her medical degree from Osmania Medical College with honors.  She completed her residency at St. John's Hospital and Medical Center in Michigan.  Dr. Akkinapally is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She has a mini fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Mental Health Disorders through REACH institute in Virginia.  She is currently pursuing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine/Holistic Care through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.  Dr. Akkinapally lives in Cumming with her husband Harish and her two children, Aanya and Aarav.  She enjoys traveling, hiking, and dancing.
